Information on the launch ceremony of the Keihanna Avatar Challenge, a specified non-profit organization
Dear Sirs, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued patronage.
Thank you very much for your continued support.
Since last year, on the occasion of the 2025 Osaka/Kansai Expo, there has been a growing effort to disseminate from Keihanna Science City an image of a future society in which humans, robots, and avatars coexist.
One example of this is the Keihanna Avatar Challenge, in which we hold a competition every year using remote-controlled avatars modeled after elementary school sports days, and aim to see the advancement of technology in this field and dream of the future.
The non-profit organization Keihanna Avatar Challenge, which will be the operating body, has successfully received establishment certification from the competent authority (Yamashiro Regional Promotion Bureau) and was established on July 22nd. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to you and everyone else involved for their support and kindness.
Therefore, we have decided to hold the inauguration ceremony as shown below. We apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for your cooperation.
